Back in March '23, AdLiven and Electronic Arts (EA) teamed up to create a trailer for Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes "Krayt Dragon Hunt". It was a wonderful experience between EA's marketing team and a lot of talented artists that joined me in production. Timeline was done in 2 months for a May 4th "Star Wars Day" launch. Assembly and animation were handled in Maya, using Redshift for lighting and lookdev. A lot of the assets needed to be prepped, including re-rigging all characters, topology clean-up and texture upscaling. 3D FX were created in Houdini, with 2D FX and final compositing done in AE.

Full Animation pass. Characters were handled expertly by Francois Puren, Rodrigo Mendes, Jeremy Johnson, and Jesus Diaz.
Animatic and 3D Blockout comparison. Camera previz doing the heavy lifting making sure we were heading in the right direction.
The full trailer, before I needed to cut some shots to make room for headline splash screens.
